장마당 세대 새터민의 내현적 자기애 성향과 심리적 안녕감의 관계 : 하인즈 코헛의 자기심리학 관점에서

초록/요약
This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between covert narcissistic tendency and psychological well-being among Jangmadang genaration living in South Korea and to suggest appropriate direction of intervention for improved psychological well-being among them. For this study, the demographic distribution of 52 subjects and their psychological well-being were firstly examined. To find out the relationship between covert narcissistic tendency and psychological well-being, correlation analysis was used and to verify the influences of sub factors to psychological well-being, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First, the covert narcissistic tendency and psychological well-being were not significantly different according to their demographic distribution. Second, covert narcissistic tendency and psychological well-being showed negative correlation. Third, it was found that the sub factor of covert narcissism which had a significant effect on psychological well-being, was the anxiety about their life goals. It can be said that this anxiety reflects the characteristics of Jangmadang generations’ developmental issues, which is about seeking and pursuing their life goals in South Korea. It also can be explained that their anxiety about life goals might has its fundamental foundation in covert narcissistic tendency and this can hinder psychological well-being among Jangmadang genarations in South Korea. According to these results, it discussed the need for intervention to reduce the anxiety about life goals in relation to covert narcissistic tendency and their developmental needs and issues in counseling for Jangmadang generation in South Korea.
